Q : How is your lifestyle?

There are so many wonderful things about Los Angeles and Beverly Hills area that is hard to distill
into a few sentences but put simply,
into a few sentences but put simply,
because it’s sunny and the weather is just so consistently nice.
Because of that, because of the geography and all the natural elements that
it has to offer it really attracts a huge variety of people from different backgrounds,
with different talents and different aspirations.
And that confluence in inspirational, that dynamic mix of people and specially driven,
creative and successful people.
That’s motivating, and that’s inspiring to me, (and so) not only is it a source of me to draw inspiration
from but it also fills me to achieve the best that I can.

Q. Please introduce yourself as a doctor.

Hi, I’m Dr. Donald Yoo.
I’m a facial plastic surgeon here in Beverly Hills and I focus in only the face, and so I specialize in Rhinoplasty,
Asian rhinoplasty, Revision Rhinoplasty, and also eyelid surgery including Asian double eyelid surgery,
Blepharoplasty and also Asian face surgery, which includes face lift.
I’m very passionate about facial plastic surgery,
because I do think that it contains the most intricate and complex anatomy
and is the most interesting anatomy in the entire body.
My goal is to keep my patients looking natural but more attractive.

Q. Please introduce Beverly Hills charm.

Living in Los Angeles it is essential that you enjoy the weather, and it really lends itself to doing outdoor activities,
and being able to just appreciate and be immersed in the beauty that is all around us.
So, Los Angeles and Beverly Hills have wonderfully planned and beautifully treelined streets.
Specially in Beverly Hills, like Rodeo Drive or the palm trees,
they set this stage and it really gives you that California summertime.

Q. What do you do on weekends?

An ideal weekend day for me is spending time with my lovely wife Halley and my dog Reeree.
It’s so nice just to be able to go outside and enjoy the weather,
and we like doing just that, spending time with each other and have a nice cup of coffee,
taking in the sights and sounds and just appreciating being in such a beautiful place.
After a hectic week of operating and seeing patients, making people from pretty to prettier,
it’s always such a nice break to be able to sit down with my wife,
and be able to catch up about the week, reflex and also share some laughs.

Q. What is the difference between a personal fashion preference and a doctor's fashion?

My personal sense of style tends to be a little bit flashier as I like to stand out a little bit
and be unique, but as a plastic surgeon I do have to present a very professional image and so,
in doing so I like to pay attention to the details.
Even though I’m wearing a sharply pressed white coat I like accessorizing
with shoes that have a little bit more character and personality I like to wear scrubs also, that express my esthetic
and who I am as a person and as a surgeon.
Now that I have the opportunity to have a great pair of Acmeci scrubs
I’ve come to find sneakers that would also complement the entire look.

Q. What are the impressive benefits of Beverly Hills?

“ It is sunny and the weather is generally beautiful all the time. ”

One of the wonderful aspects of living in southern California and in the Beverly Hills area
it is that; even though is so urban and metropolitan
and it is a center of shopping, plastic surgery, retail; not far away are beautiful
beaches that can be enjoyed year around because it is sunny
and the weather is generally beautiful all the time.
Any time when I feel like I need to expand my horizons or see from a slightly different view
I can drive a few minutes west and visit one of our local beaches
and enjoy some relaxation, and a more expansive view.

Q. What are your plans for next year?

Looking at 2019 I look forward to continuing to make my patients
from pretty to prettier and also moving to a new home and renovating
it with my family of Halley and Reeree,
and perhaps adding another member to our family.
